Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Dr. Eleanore Kue, and I am deeply passionate about bringing hope and healing to those in need. Born in Cameroon, Africa, I began my journey of service at a young age. I moved to France as a teenager to pursue my dream of becoming a physician and later came to the United States, where I’ve spent over three decades working tirelessly to serve the underserved.
"Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up."
– Galatians 6:9
As the founder and Medical Director of His Healing Hands Clinic in Lansing, Michigan, I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate medical care to those who are uninsured or underserved. Since 2009, our clinic has cared for over 10,000 people, with more than 50,000 medical visits, focusing on mental health, addiction recovery, and holistic wellness.
In 2022, I expanded this mission by launching United Against Poverty and the 100 Families Initiative, which helps families move from crisis to stability through a collaborative, community-led approach. This initiative is grounded in faith and driven by the belief that every family deserves a chance to thrive.
I am passionate about addressing systemic inequities that affect vulnerable populations. From disparities in healthcare access to the challenges faced by minority professionals, I believe in the importance of advocating for fairness, equity, and inclusion. My hope is to shed light on these broader issues and work alongside others to bring about meaningful change.
Justice is not just a concept—it’s a responsibility. Whether fighting for equitable opportunities, fair treatment, or systemic reforms, we are called to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. This commitment to justice aligns with my faith and fuels my efforts to empower individuals and strengthen communities.
I am deeply inspired by the words of Isaiah 58:6-7:
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
Through this blog, I share stories of transformation, updates on my advocacy work, and reflections on faith and hope. My goal is to inspire, equip, and challenge you to be part of the solution—whether by supporting families in crisis, advocating for justice, or simply spreading the message of hope.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Together, we can make a difference, one family and one life at a time.
This blog is a reflection of my calling to embody the words of Isaiah 58:6-7 by advocating for families in crisis and fighting for justice.
