The Power of Prayer in My Walk with Christ
Prayer has always been foundational in my journey with Christ. From the moment I gave my life to Him, I was deeply influenced by my pastor, who modeled the life of a prayer warrior. As a church, we witnessed God’s incredible answers to prayer through weekly testimonies of salvation, healing, and deliverance. These experiences confirmed that prayer is powerful and transformative, shaping lives in ways that only God can.
Becoming a 100 Families Coordinator
As the Coordinator and Advocate for the 100 Families Initiative, my faith and commitment to prayer have grown even deeper. This role allows me to serve families in crisis, witnessing firsthand God’s work in their lives. Each interaction reminds me of His love and provision, even in the most challenging situations.
A Testimony of Divine Intervention
One of the most remarkable experiences in my role involved a mother of eight children. Forced to move into a shelter due to unsafe conditions, her greatest need was housing. In Lansing, where housing is scarce, especially for large families, the odds were against us.
This mother was open to prayer, and together, we sought God’s intervention. Just a week later, to my surprise and delight, a four-bedroom house became available. She and her children moved in shortly after. This was a clear and swift answer to prayer, demonstrating that God can open doors where none seem possible.
Interceding for Families in Crisis
Stories like this keep me on my knees in prayer. My role with the 100 Families Initiative involves more than advocacy—it’s about interceding for the families I am honored to serve. Each need, whether for housing, employment, or emotional support, is an opportunity to trust God for His provision and guidance.
Looking Ahead to 2025 with Hope and Expectation
As we step into 2025, I am excited and expectant. God’s faithfulness has been evident in every family we’ve served, and I trust Him to continue working miracles. My mission is clear: to keep my eyes on Jesus, intercede for those in need, and witness His transformative power in action.
