Giving Thanks for Their Support
Last Sunday, I had the privilege of worshiping with the wonderful congregation at Haiti Nazarene Church in Lansing. It was a day filled with gratitude and inspiration as I thanked them for their incredible support and partnership in helping to pre-launch the 100 Families initiative. Their contributions have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life, and I am deeply appreciative of their commitment to making a difference.
What Is 100 Families?
For those unfamiliar, 100 Families is a transformative initiative designed to help families in crisis move toward stability and long-term success. Through a holistic approach, we collaborate with churches, organizations, and community leaders to address root causes of poverty and empower families to thrive. Since its pre-launch, we’ve already assisted families in improving housing stability, gaining access to essential resources, and connecting with organizations that provide critical support.
An Invitation to Serve and Support
During the service, I invited the congregation to connect with us if anyone in their community was struggling or in need. To my joy, five passionate members of the church rose up to join the mission. These individuals will soon begin training as Family Advocates, equipping them to work directly with families within their church, offering guidance, resources, and hope. Their commitment to serving their community is a testament to the spirit of unity and love that defines Haiti Nazarene Church.

This partnership is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when churches and communities come together for a common cause. I left feeling immensely blessed and inspired by the worship, fellowship, and the church’s readiness to make a difference.
